- Lapis Lazuli is known for encouraging the powers of ones' own intuition and is associated with opening of the the third eye thus stimulating the desire for knowledge, ultimate truth and enlightenment
- It associated with meditation and enlightenment which would make it the perfect stone for Shiva, Parvati and the Buddha
- The electric cobolt blue mixed with flakes of gold in the stone are enchanting making it ideal for placing on a home altar or to place in the statue's hands or on the base of the statue itself to help foster meditation when in the presence of the deity
